[보도자료] “문화적 자유와 권리, 문화다양성 확보를 위한 이주민예술인 정책 필요”

press release “Need a policy for migrant artists to secure cultural freedom, rights and cultural diversity” (National Assembly Legislative Research Office)

Social discussions and policy improvement are needed from the perspective of cultural diversity so that migrant artists can be guaranteed opportunities to work stably in Korean society.
○ To this end, △reorganization of regulations related to the status of migrant artists under the current law, △new establishment of freelancer visa and relaxation of permanent visa requirements, △ It is necessary to review ways to change the support qualification for the culture and arts support project to “everyone residing in Korea.”
